This is a view from the ship. We are dock on the out skirts of the town so it is a good 10-15 minute walk from the terminal. Should you take the walk grab a bottle of water and a hat because it is hot and humid on the walk. I was going to walk down town and walk along the beach with my feet in the water but I am going to just return back to the ship too cool off. We have an early sailing so I want to take a nice cool shower and grab something to eat before going to work on the Promenade to promote my event for tomorrow. But I will stay awhile here and take in this beautiful scenery. It is funny I have thought about what it would be like to live here but the humidity stops me. I do love living in So. California. so I will stay where I am and enjoy the places I go while I am there.
I thought I would introduce a few of the shoppies from the Boutiques on board the Freedom of the Seas. They have been a delight to work with. A great group of kids and management to boot. They have helped to make my set ups and beak downs ez. This was a nite that a group of them had the nite off so they could go eat in the Windjammer and they invited me to eat with them. After dinner we decided to go see what was happening up in Oliver Twist Bar. And that is where this picture was taken. This is the inside of Chesterfields that is about a 5 minute walk from the ship terminal here in St Maarten. It has yummy food, good drinks, a magnificent view and it also plays 70's music which helps to set a very nice ambiance. Together with all that and the fact it sits on the water and has a great ocean breeze always blowing makes me just want to stay here forever. Could life get better then this, lol. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........
