St. Maarten with Freedom of the Seas 8/5
Well we made it to St. Maarten without any problems and a smooth sail. There was rumor with crew that we were to go into a storm and if it was bad enough we would be staying at sea and not stop. But it cleared up so I am sitting in a great restaurant right outside the terminal(about 5 minute walk). Named Chesterfield's that has a great atmosphere, view, food and drink. Not to mention free WIFI. Love places like this it makes life so much easier then it already is, lol. The restaurant is open and sits right on the water with a wonderful breeze going thru as natural AC. So I think I am going to treat myself with a lunch here and do some work till I must return to the ship. We did just have a 5 minute rain pour and then back to sunshine. I was here about a month or so ago on the Liberty so I really don't have any desire to walk down town. I have 2 sea days ahead of me and will be working long days on both so I will take it ez for today.

Looks great!!!! I spent the one summer sailing the British Virgin Islands which were gorgeous. The summer there can be a bit challenging though, look out for the noseeums, I had lots of those pesky bites. Ahhhh, memories of long slow days of spear fishing and sailing from Island to Island......
