More Cruising the Caribbean with Liberty of the Seas 8/29
The Harbor of Miami is too big to really get a good picture, so I took a few. It is a nice harbor that is lined with bridges, apartment buildings, shops and company buildings. It is at least 10 to 15 minutes for our ship to cruise to open waters.
And as soon as we hit the open Ocean we are off to another cruise of the Caribbean with a new group of passengers and a few that are doing back-to-back cruises. We have 1400 kids on board this cruise, schools must still be out for the summer.
I just had to show you my bed buddy for the last night in a passenger cabin, it is hanging from a hanger and it was so cute to come into the cabin to see. I kept it and placed my cabin stewards tip envelope on it before I vacated the cabin.
My new cabin was on deck 1 where all the crew cabins are. They give my cabin a special name but it is just another crew cabin. The only difference is that I get room service, passenger channels on the TV and a few of the items I received when I was in a passenger cabin. Sadly it was dirty when I arrived and very smelly. I quickly tried to freshen the air and left the cabin till it was cleaned. :( what a way to start a cruise. It has to go up from here, lol.
FIRST SEA DAY
My first day of the cruise was a Sea day so I unveiled my first of our 3 collections, Gems of the Sea. This collection consists of Coral, Pearls and Shell Jewelry. I start the day off with a free raffle of a necklace from my collection, Coral necklace today and my big winner is the lady in the black and white shirt. Her name is Lynda Jennings from Fishers, Indiana. It was so cute when Lynda won because she was genuinely surprised and oh so happy to have won it. And it looked great on her also. Lynda came and showed it to me in her formal attire, nice!
I fished my day around 6pm because we had to clear the Promenade for formal night and the Captains welcome party. I had a good day............
Once again, my wonderful crew for my Sea Day event. On the left is Kurt from Jamaica, Helen from Canada and Kevin also from Jamaica. On the right is a picture of the Fine Jewelry clan that is the shop that is on one side of the Promenade. The Jewelry clan comes from India, Mexico and So. Africa.
